Just posting my experience. My X23 is on 12.1 and is off the charger for about 16 hours a day. Usually I still have 70% of battery left at the end of the day. I use it for Matrix messaging; web browsing; email; and Minds.
They say that Googles keyboard is not so good for your privacy. So why is it installed in Volla OS? I changed to Openboard. Something that is better I hope? Is it safe to lock the bootloader after installing Volla OS onto the X23 ? I've seen mixed opinions when using degoogled operating systems depending on device.
So I have some good news. I thought that maybe I would have to manually edit my APN settings but it turns out the OS had already picked up the proper APN settings but had not applied them. I just had to tap the circle next to my APN and then restart the phone. Calls and SMS work now.
Are there any users of the X23 in Canada ? If so what carrier are you on ? I'm on Koodo and so farmy sim isn't working on my X23. I'm on Volla OS and am on the most recent 12.1 update. The OS picks up the Sim as a Koodo SIM but says calls and SMS are unavailable. Any tips or tricks one can offer ?

I was under the impression that the Volla X23 comes with both Ubuntu Touch and Volla OS installed and you can switch between the two. Am I correct in this understanding ? If so how does one switch ? I chose Ubuntu Touch when ordering if this matters.
