Sorry - I hadn't seen the previous posts before I asked about Volla 'phones in Oz.
It is worth noting though that 4G coverage was degraded when the carriers introduced 5G. This may account for some of the problems mentioned.

If so which carrier and phone model and 4G or 5G?
