Welp, PEBKAC. Fastboot now works, maybe it was the cable.

I did find the way to go to recovery, but the device is not reachable over usb in recovery / fastboot mode for some reason. Could it be pogopins are the main usb or something? Currently want to figure out how to do a fix without factory reset (which I assume nukes everything).

Hello, Volla Plinius with Ubuntu Touch is stuck in a dreaded bootloop. Holding power+volume up does not go into recovery mode (as per faq?).
