Hi - No section for Volla Tablet so posting here, please move if there is better place
Took delivery of my tablet today.
Couple of questions
1) How long would you expect it to reach full charge - mains via supplied adaptor (not via PC/USB port)
2) Would you expect the tablet to be usable while charging?

1) This cannot be answered without knowing the initial charge level
2) The tablet can be used while charging. For reasons of battery health, it is not recommended to use the tablet or phone at the same time during the charging process, especially at 100%, as this stresses the battery.

Many thanks for the quick response (and new section)

1) I think the initial charge was close to zero
2) I would not normally run while on charge - just asking to see if it could.... when battery fully drained it doesn't seem possible

On charge for 4hrs then got Volla Welcome screen
Disconnected - so on battery (didnt note battery charge level)
Ran startup dialog, got connected to my wiFi (probably took about 15-20 mins) ... Tab shut itself down
Back on charge ... +5hrs .... lock screen ... unlock ...battery 5% ... advised to enable battery saver - now on
Left on charge +6hrs battery 48% ...will leave until 100%

I appreciate this may be the first full charge of the battery, so a one off.

Is this expected behaviour?

The fact that the battery was almost empty on arrival should not be the case. I will point this out to the management.

Hi, similar issue here. I've received my tablet, however, even plugged in, I can't boot it.
I've raised a ticket to the support already.

Thanks for orderung the tablet. Please attach it more than 30 minutes to the charger if the battersy is completely discharged. Than push the power button until the device starts, while the device is still connected to the charger. After the device has started, keep ot connected tio the charge until the battery is fully charged. If this fails, please contact our customer support at volla.online/en/support to organize a replacement. We aplogize for inconvenience.
