Tablet won't charge and won't turn on

I wonder if anyone had encountered this problem and solved it.

I received the Volla tablet (Ubuntu touch edition) and I was thrilled. I unboxed it. Looks good and feels high quality, german quality. I plugged it in to charge it but, it doesn't change. Nothing shows up on the screen, no LED light... nothing. I tried switching it on and it doesn't. I left it on the chargerfor a couple of hours, still nothing. It is now still plugged into the charger and it's been more than 24 hours. I held the power button for a whole minute, still nothing. I will try pressing and holding the power button again after another 24 hours.

In the meantime, I sent an email to customer service and for some reason, I received multiple ticket numbers. I am waiting for their response.

Anyone has an idea of what is going on? possible solution or suggestions?

I know that I should wait for customers support response, however,I can't wait to use the tablet. lol

I did. I also tried charging my phone with the tablet's charger and the charger + cable work.

I also tried a different charger and cable, it didn't make a difference.

I also tried connecting the tablet to my laptop, nothing happend.

Update.

I received a response from customer service, they sent me a shipping label and I sent the tablet. I was told that they will send me a new one.

I am pleased with the painless experience.
I'll update once I receive the tablet.
