Installing ubuntu or sailfish?

I have Volla OS. How do I install Ubuntu or Sailfish? Ist running Android 16

As you unfortunately didn’t specify whether you meant MultiBoot or Standalone, I’m assuming MultiBoot (i.e. as a parallel system).

For the time being, I would advise against installing SFOS. On various devices, this has resulted in VollaOS no longer being able to start.

Ubuntu Touch can be installed via MultiBoot and must be updated exclusively through MultiBoot.

I have attached af screenshot of my tablet. The boot manager is not installed. I attempted to install it but got an error messege. I have attached that as well.

If Ubuntu Touch has been installed on an SD card via multiboot, you can choose to boot either VollaOS or Ubuntu Touch

How to do?

Ubuntu Touch would need to be installed on an SD card via multiboot.
Whether multiboot works on a device depends on the device itself, the version of VollaOS currently in use, and, in particular, the version number (i.e. the update status). Instructions can be found on volla.online. Help is available in the Telegram support group.

The Ubports installer deletes VollaOS and installs Ubuntu Touch as the sole operating system.
Please note: All data will be deleted.
Please note: There have already been cases of serious errors. The device then had to be sent to Volla’s customer service department for repair.

Changing the operating system is only recommended for experienced users.

I advise against using MultiBoot if the device is your main device for everyday use.

Warning: Do not install SailfishOS under any circumstances at present. There have been two serious errors so far.

On my X23 I often experienced the "Cannot get meta" Error.
It usually just requires a reboot of the VollaOS.
Afterwards it usually worked.
