X23 couple of problems

Mostly happy with my new phone except I have a couple of problems, when I plug it in to charge then it often says charging slowly. I bought the charger from the store when I ordered my phone. I have to unplug it a few times until it says charging instead of charging slowly.

The bigger problem is that when I don't use the phone for a while then it no longer alerts me that I have messages. When I wake the phone to use it then it alerts me and the messages come through. I hope this is sorted out soon or I will have to go back to using my old phone.
