Multiple problems after Android 12 update from september 2023

Last month I updated my Volla Phone to Android 12 (12-20230911-stable-yggdrasil) and since then I've encountered several issues:

• battery drain, even when the phone is idle

• a permanent notification that the device is being charged through USB, even when not connected

• when the device is connected, it won't charge, unless a reboot

After playing with some settings, I decided to do a clean install. However the problems persisted.

Now I wanted to try to rollback to an older release or try Ubuntu Touch, but I have not been successful.

• ubports installer does find my Volla Phone, but hangs when installing (is does not do any installing)

• fastboot does not recognize any device

• adb can access the device in normal mode, but not in recovery mode (device unauthorized)

For every step I've tried instructions I found for example on forum.xda-developers.com and so on, like installing drivers. But no results so far. Probably because I forgot something simple, but I don't see it.

Some help would be great:

• Does anyone have experienced troubles after the Android 12 update?

• Perhaps a way to fix the for-mentioned problems?

• Any ideas how to solve the unauthorized device for adb in recovery mode?
