Failed to get meta error: installing dualboot

Hi, I have just received my x23 phone and i'm trying to install dualboot on it. I go to system, then dual boot, then setup SDCARD and click next, then just get this error "failed to get meta - aborting" message. nothing happens.

The SDCARD is 64gb and fully formatted for android (I can use the file app and browse the files on it no problem, move to/from etc). What is the issue here? I am not using vpn or anything, just wifi and internet works fine on browser and in apps.

Help would be appreciated!

Please make sure you are using the latest VollaOS.
Please use a PC to format the card with GPT.
Then insert the card into the phone and set it up further using the multiboot manager.

I fixed this - writting here for anyone who has this issue.

I simply had to reformat the sdcard using the android operating system - go in settings/storage/select sdcard/format

i was then able to proceed after this was done.
