X23, VOS 12.1 - Multiboot can't install Ubuntu Touch

Hi - I'm having issues installing UT (Ubuntu Touch).

X23 - updated to the latest VOS 12.1. It took 3 hours to download and install the update. I tried 4 times and on the 4th time it actually worked.

I then tried to install UT via the boot manager. Please see the attached pics.

I did also try to use ubports to create a single boot UT phone but that couldn't get past many error after the fastboot.

Please help.

Same issue.
Also now the phone refuses to recognise the SD card (tried two now). Also two factory resets.
The used SD cards were re-formatted as well, but the ROM installer and storage manager refuses to see them.

Can one of the volla support people please reply? There are many issues that get no attention which is not a good thing.

Thanks for using a Volla Phone X23.

1. Please make sure, that you have updated the OS to the recent version vom 11 September
2. Please reformat and install Ubuntu Touch and choose a name for the ROM without a blank, for example "UbuntuTouch".

IT'S WORKING!

Step 2 was the winner.

I did have to reboot the Volla OS after creating the system-data storage partition and then create the user-data and reboot again before attempting to install otherwise it fails.

Nice work, Got mine working as well, and yes the same issue with number 2. Quite happy now.

Still have one issue though is that the 2 failed installs on 2 other SD cards, and no matter what I do, the phone won't recognise them any more..

Confirmed regarding the sd card issue. I now have that also
