Changing Default Screen
Is there a way to change the default screen when I unlock the phone from the Springboard to a more traditional home screen ?

Yes, the other pre installed launcher is called "Trebuchet"
Settings -> Apps -> Standard Apps -> Start App
Change from "Volla" to "Trebuchet"
