George (Reifaissen) Banking App on Volla

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my experience with the George banking app (Slovenská sporiteľňa).

Installing via Aurora Store does not work.

However, the app does work when downloaded from the Huawei AppGallery.

Since many Volla and deGoogled phone users do not use Google Play, I have already contacted the bank and requested them to publish the app also on F-Droid.

Here is the message I sent to the bank (in Slovak):

Dobrý deň,

Vedeli by ste vašu aplikáciu vypublikovať aj na F-Droid? Používam telefóny, ktoré nemajú Google účet, keďže Google Play je viazaný na Google účet nemôžem využívať môj telefón na prístup k bankovníctvu.
