I have been using Lineage with FDE (Full Disk Encryption) but this has finally been removed with Android 13 AOSP base for the new Lineage.
Personally I don't trust FBE with app developers have discretion as to what is encrypted with FBE and what isnt. Plus an unlocked Bootloader pretty easily means you can bypass FBE.
Does the Volla OS support FDE (with a boot password) and will you be able to keep this when you get towards basing Volla OS on Android 13?
Sadly Ubuntu Touch doesn't yet support encrypted drives at all.
