Volla Phone Plinius Dual Boot

Hello,

I have a new Plinius Plus with Volla OS and was looking forward to trying the dual boot option with Ubuntu.
I seem to have run into some issue and am assuming that dual boot for this device is not ready yet, but wanted to confirm and help others discover the issue too.

I open Settings > System > Volla Boot Manager
Choose to setup the SD card, agree to install ABM, add my OS name and press Install

When the download starts, it always fails. There is no real error message, it just says Failure. There is a possibility I should turn on developer options, but there is nothing in the manual for this.

I attempted UB Ports, but it seems there is no ability to flash the phone as the fastboot options are disabled by default on Volla phones (according to a post I read).

Is dual boot not ready yet for these devices or is there something I am missing?

Hallo,

ich habe ein neues Plinius Plus mit Volla OS und habe mich darauf gefreut, die Dual-Boot-Option mit Ubuntu auszuprobieren.

Ich bin dabei offenbar auf ein Problem gestoßen und vermute, dass Dual Boot für dieses Gerät noch nicht vollständig bereit ist. Ich wollte dies jedoch bestätigen und gleichzeitig dazu beitragen, dass auch andere Nutzer das Problem leichter erkennen können.

Ich öffne Einstellungen > System > Volla Boot Manager
Wähle die Einrichtung der SD-Karte aus, stimme der Installation von ABM zu, gebe den Namen meines Betriebssystems ein und drücke auf Installieren.

Sobald der Download beginnt, schlägt dieser jedes Mal fehl. Es wird keine wirkliche Fehlermeldung angezeigt, sondern lediglich „Failure“. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass ich zuvor die Entwickleroptionen aktivieren muss, allerdings finde ich dazu nichts im Handbuch.

Ich habe auch UBports ausprobiert, aber anscheinend gibt es keine Möglichkeit, das Telefon zu flashen, da die Fastboot-Optionen bei Volla-Telefonen standardmäßig deaktiviert sind (laut einem Beitrag, den ich gelesen habe).

Ist Dual Boot für diese Geräte noch nicht bereit, oder übersehe ich etwas bzw. muss ich noch eine bestimmte Einstellung vornehmen?

I also have a new Plinius Plus with Volla OS and Dual Boot with Ubuntu Touch is working for me from SD-Card. It took some time to download all files but I always saw the download progress increasing slowly.
