Does the VP22 only have 2.4 GHz, not 5 GHz? The latter would be so much better since it's used short-range anyway.

And can I not choose which channel it uses for the hotspot?

The Volla 22 has both Frequencies 2.4 and 5 GHz

I do not know whether this can be configured for the hotspot
