No sound in sms

I have 2 phones one volla and one VollaX In the Vollaphone i'm (my wife phone) is not able to hear incoming sms. It is not working.
We put the phones together if the configuring is the same as I have in VollaX and it was. We found out that when i goto sms app choose an contact and goes to human and options. I can click on the contact and it goes to the contact app. With the Volla it is not able it just copied the phonenumber.
But incoming messages there isn't any sound, however we can choose other sounds in contact but still not working.
Is there anything else which i could forget in the vollaphone ?
is there something what i can do to let the sms sound working?
