Unfortunately, there is very little information about what you’re planning to do.
As the post was published on UbuntuTouch, I assume you’re looking to change your operating system? In that case, an SD card isn’t necessary.

If, on the other hand, you’re planning a multi-boot installation, I’ll need to move the thread to the appropriate forum.
In that case, a 32GB card is almost at the limit – it’s still doable, but will quickly run out of space once you add more data. I’d recommend a card with more storage capacity.
