Hallo zusammen,

ich spiele gerade etwas mit Nextcloud-Talk und kriege leider auf dem Volla keine Benachrichtigungen hin.
Natürlich habe ich bei den entsprechenden Kanälen die Benachrichtigungen aktiviert etc. Auch bekommen andere Androide Benachrichtigungen von meinen Servern, nur das Volla will nicht. war schon immer so und ich habe das erste von Anfang an, mittlerweile auch das X23 und da geht auch nix.
Auch wenn NC-Talk offen ist werden mir neue Nachrichten auch erst angezeigt wenn ich in den betreffenden Kanal rein gehe.

Es ist an sich, für mich nicht ganz so schlimm, da ich eh kein Freund von dauernd piepsenden Handkommunikationsgeräten bin, aber es wäre gut wenn eine Funktion auch geht wenn sie schon mal da ist .

Hat es Jemand von Euch mal hin bekommen?

Edit: Anrufe von Anderen Benutzern werden übrigens auch nicht angezeigt.

If you have the VollaOS version without microG, the only solution is to install and configure Nextcloud Services from F-droid. But this application consumes a lot of battery power.
If you have a VollaOS version with microG support, you need to activate microG, uninstall Nextcloud Talk from your phone and install Nextcloud Talk from the Avrora store. The Nextcloud Talk version from the F-droid store does not physically support push notifications via microG or Google. On VollaOS 12.1, push notifications via microG are faster than on a phone with Google Services.

But: no notifications at all with the playstore-version :/
And by the way if i am trying to add a second nextcloud account, the login to my accounts fails with that version.
I think i will stay with the F-Droid version that works so far, i only have to check manually for messages.

Do you have microG enabled? Also, the Cloud Messaging option in microG must be activated and Nextcloud Talk must be registered in Cloud Messaging.

aah, that makes sense, works now but the login is still buggy

I've had both login and notifications working without problems since upgrading to VollaOS 12.1 (BETA) and the new microG version in it.

It is working fine, but also eating double that energy as it was before i activated that microg stuff
